Viruses aren't all bad. Here's why
It is cold and flu season so many of us are currently under the weather with a virus. But what exactly is a virus? And are they even alive?
My research looks at which bits of an infected cell are required for various viruses to replicate. I'm particularly interested in norovirus (winter vomitting disease) and have previously worked on coronaviruses, influenza and others. I am currently a postdoctoral scientist at the University of Cambridge.
