Josh Jaffe serves as Chief Security Officer, Vice President and Business Unit Security Officer for Corporate Services and
Customer Operations at Dell Technologies. Josh brings nearly 20 years of cybersecurity experience to the
role and leads the implementation of security and resiliency programs across the Global Finance, Legal,
Sales and Marketing organizations.
Before joining Dell, Josh served as the Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Daimler Mobility
AG where he successfully led the creation of their first global cybersecurity function. Prior to Daimler, he
was the Director of Information Security Risk and Corporate Information Security Officer at Emerson
Electric. He also worked for Deloitte Consulting providing cybersecurity guidance to various Fortune 500
technology and financial services companies. Josh began his career with the U.S. Intelligence Community
focusing on electronic intelligence and counterterrorism. He served in various locations in the U.S. and
greater Middle East.
Josh holds a bachelor's in Business Administration and a master’s in Security Studies from Missouri State
and is currently working on a doctorate with Oxford University. He is the president of the Global Center for
Cybersecurity, a non-profit focused on improving cyber education and innovation. He also writes and
lectures frequently on topics related to cybersecurity and policy
