Yan has extensive private sector experience in financial services, e-commerce, cross border investments and capital markets through her prior roles as senior legal counsel for Ant Financial/Alipay and lawyer at Shearman & Sterling LLP. Yan received her B.A. in Economics and Political Science from New York University and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
