People around the world are living longer, although major inequalities in healthy life expectancy persist both across and within countries. Importantly, most countries have yet to address inequities or reap the benefits of longer lives. The Global Future Council on Healthy Longevity and Human Enhancement will foster Healthy Ageing by: exploring ethical issues and providing guidance on data sharing, market opportunities and the potential to expand human capital; and identifying key opportunities for public and private collaboration to realize the social and economic gains of an age-inclusive 4th Industrial Revolution.
