Infrastructure Summit - African Strategic Infrastructure Initiative

On 8 and 10 May, over 150 participants gathered to deliberate transnational and cross-border solutions for infrastructure development in Africa in the context of the Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA) and to discuss the outcomes of the first phase of the African Strategic Infrastructure Initiative.The initiative is led by the World Economic Forum and coordinated with the African Development Bank (AfDB), with the support and guidance of the African Union Commission and the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency as the overall coordinating agencies.
